Developed for the protection of aluminium window frames during manufacture, distribution, and installation. The tape offers a higher level of initial tack and adhesion, making it ideal for application on low surface energy powder coat surfaces. It can be used to protect a range of exterior and interior surfaces. The tape is also ideal for use as a barrier tape between dissimilar metals for the prevention of electrolysis corrosion.

- Coated with a specially formulated adhesive system, offering a high level of initial adhesion, greater cohesion, and superior long ageing characteristics in harsh exterior environments
- Manufactured with a heavy gauge, abrasion resistant polyethylene film offering maximum protection and eliminating stretch when applied
- Will withstand ongoing exposure to UV light and weather
- Will not curl when unwound ensuring ease of application
Applications
- Protection of low surface energy powder coated aluminium window frames during manufacturing, transportation, installation, and storage
- May be used on other plain and powder coated metals, stainless steel, and certain opaque plastics, providing suitability is evaluated
Notes
- UV performance will vary depending on the type of surface adhered to, the length of time and the exposure conditions
- Removal within 6 months is recommended depending on the surface
- Not suitable for application on transparent or translucent surfaces
- Always apply to a clean dry surface free from contamination
- Industrial cleaners, solvents and chemicals may affect the performance of this product
- Customers should independently determine the suitability of this product for their specific purpose prior to use
