Auckland Council is funding the restoration project as part of the long-term plan for this iconic Auckland asset. Dowsil 688 was used for the weather sealing on the window frames and Dowsil 790 for the clock.

Glass Edge Protection

Glasscorp Glass Edge Protectors can be placed on the edge of the glass to provide a cushion to protect against damage. It also provides protection to staff. The blue edge protectors are a bright blue colour that is easily visible. The foam is pre-slit for easy application, and removes the need to use a knife to slit the foam, further improving health and safety.

Smartlift provides a safe and efficient solution for lifting a large number of glass panels. Glasscorp can install an alternative pad configuration placing the vacuum cups into an in-line configuration. Allowing for glass with a smaller width to be lifted and installed.

The TE105 Double-Sided A-Frame Trolley provided a practical and efficient answer to these challenges. Its wheeled design allowed it to be moved easily around the factory and positioned directly beside vans or trucks to streamline loading and unloading. The double-sided frame enabled multiple jobs to be stored on a single unit, freeing up valuable space and improving workflow efficiency.

The Backing Rod Reel Stand provides a solution to the demands of structural glazing. The stand can store and dispense multiple Backing Rod Reels and sizes. Dowsil 650+ can be exposed to wind, rain, dust and building construction products for up to 1 year after application. The product is designed to peel off easily in one sheet for simple disposal. Dowsil 650+ is a water based product and can be disposed oof in the general rubbish.
